This is a blog of original flash fiction stories.  Many of them are written for prompts from flash fiction communities.  I encourage any comments or sharing these posts.  All posts are copyright Sarah Unsicker.  If the story is published elsewhere, this will be noted in the post.  This is my writing practice and some encouragement to have something constantly in the works.

About Me

I have always been an avid reader, although this has fallen off in the past few years.  Children have a way of taking my time away from books.  I have wanted to be a writer for as long as I can remember; writers are the celebrities of my world.  Right now I am beginning work on a novel, and I am taking some creative writing classes through the public library.  I live in St. Louis with my husband and two children.
